Bevel Monuments are similar to flat markers but have a gently sloping face. They are also called pillow markers for this reason. The raised back also allows the vertical face to be engraved if you desire, usually with the family name. 

As pictured, any number of symbols, flowers and words can adorn the face of your memorial. There is also a wide variety of granite choices that allow for differing etching techniques to be used.
